Holistic Body Massage
This is a 10 week course comprising of 10, 3hr evening training sessions, a period for home case studies followed by an assessment (2.5hrs) consisting of written test paper, practical assessment and the submission of case studies.
This course, once successfully completed leads to a full
Practitioners Diploma in Holistic Body massage enabling you to obtain insurance to practice on the public.Pre-requisite Anatomy & Physiology diploma. A+P training from another qualification may be acceptable. i.e. Reflexology Diploma with A+P. Proof of this will be needed.
**Students undertaking the A + P course at the T.S.L at the same time
are permitted to do this course**During the course you will cover the following:
History of Body massage - How Body Massage works
The effects of Body Massage - Massage Techniques - Massage Mediums - Contra indications - Contra Actions
Health and safety - Hygienic practice - Treatment set up
Client consultation - After care advice
Practical (both carrying out and receiving) A FULL Body Massage
You will receive a comprehensive manual and all items needed for the treatments
that are carried out within the centre.
