THE ULTIMATE BODY MASSAGE COURSE

This course has been written and designed for those people already involved in or looking to venture into the world of Holistic and Complementary Therapies. The course will run for 1 evening per week for a period of 20 weeks.

This course, once successfully completed leads to full accredited Practitioner Diplomas, in all subjects covered, enabling you to obtain insurance to practice on the public.

During the course you will learn about the history of all the treatments covered, how to carry out a full treatment as well as experience the massage for yourself. Anatomy and physiology, health and safety issues etc. All course materials for use on the premises and manuals will be provided.

Subjects to be covered are:

  HOT STONE MASSAGE

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE   THAI FOOT MASSAGE

Balance is then payable by a further 5 installments of £100.00 per month. Month 1 being due on your first night of tuition.

Anatomy & Physiology Diploma Course

The Anatomy and Physiology course is home study because anatomy and physiology requires no hands-on or face-to-face training. It is purely theoretical, but please remember you are not left unsupported. You will have unlimited contact with your tutor who is there to help and guide throughout the course. This anatomy and physiology course will cover all the bodily systems playing a major role in human anatomy. The course material is presented in a practical and comprehensive manner. The focus of the course is on the need to know facts that must be understood in order to pursue a career within the alternative/complementary therapy field. The course has easy to follow lessons that are ideal for anyone requiring a solid understanding of how the human body works. The course will cover the following subjects in the form of a lesson accompanied with a test paper.

Holistic Body Massage Diploma Course

During the course you will cover the following:

History of Body massage - How Body Massage works - The effects of Body Massage

After care advice - Practical( both carrying out and receiving) A FULL Body Massage

You will receive a comprehensive manual and all items needed for the treatments

that are carried out within the centre.

Hot Stone Massage Diploma Course

This part of the course will cover all you need to know about how to use hot stones to provide a full body massage. During the course you will look at a brief history of this

treatment, the benefits of this massage along with the use of crystals to create a more complete healing experience. You will learn how to carry out this massage as well as experience it for yourself. You will receive a comprehensive manual and all items needed for the treatments that are carried out within the centre.

Indian Head Massage Diploma Course

During this part of the course you will cover the following:

What is Indian Head Massage - The History of Indian Head Massage

Benefits of Indian Head Massage - Contra indications - Contra actions

Various oils and their uses - Massage techniques - Health and safety

Hygienic practice - Treatment set up - Client consultation

After care advice - Practical( both carrying out and receiving)

Scalp, Face, Neck and shoulder massage

You will receive a comprehensive manual and all items needed for the treatments that are carried out within the centre.

Thai Foot Massage Diploma Course

During this part of the course you will learn about the history of Thai Foot Massage, all the related anatomy and how to carry out a full treatment as well as experience the massage for yourself.

This course, once successfully completed leads to full Practitioner Diplomas in all the subjects covered, enabling you to obtain insurance to practice on the public. ** A + P does not require case studies or practical assessment**
